For the issue with missing images, I've seen this now on several sites running the same Image Optimise plugin. I've made a change so the images are optimised as they are uploaded, rather than after 5 minutes, which seems to fix the issue.

Image Optimizer for XF 2.0 [Paid]
It appears to be jpeg images that are being deleted. Which makes me think it's the jpegoptim binary causing it. I've just downloaded the offcial latest version as the one provided is 1.5.1 ./jpegoptim --version jpegoptim v1.5.1 x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu (Nov 7 2023) Copyright (C) 1996-2023...

Thanks Matt. It was a bit odd. Most of the time I would see the images, but they'd disappear after few minutes or less. Will that fix the "squished" images also?
Looking at the images everyone has linked, those are images that are being fetched through the Image Proxy feature.
Those are being resized to the maximum image dimensions set in the forum software config. I'll set that to NO and it should stop them being resized.
