Would rather see no images in signatures...makes the place look messy!

I'd rather see no sigs at all (flamesuit on!). Makes it a lot easier to use, especially on the mobile. I spend most of my time on Pistonheads and it works brilliantly there.

I think short sigs work fine. That is the rationale though, to make the site more usable on smaller screens and mobile devices.

To be honest does anyone other that the owner of the sig give a shite what bikes you used to own? Does anyone really want to read quotes (I've even seen people quoting some unintelligible crap that they wrote themselves), should we really have political views forced down our throats, do we need to know that someone is the leader of the Northsouth Bumbleshire riders group when there is an entire forum dedicated to riders groups that lists all the leaders?
As for photos, it's just self indulgent nonsense. If you're that precious about people seeing your bikes then set up a gallery. People who care will click through.

We already have buttons down the bottom for gallery, website, profile, feedback. We have badges up the side for riders, potm, botm, and so on. Have avatars, we have post counts. What more do people want?

Just ban signatures and make this place easier on the eye and my download limit.
