My youngest daughter who still lives at home has given me the nickname 'Electric Legs' she can't keep up with me, despite being half my age!

I'm 56, so no spring chicken here either.
But each to their own.

I bought my 2 MTBs when I was about 50. No thought of a motor then. I'm 71 now. Still doing pretty good, and one of my bikes still has no motor. The lightweight one. It's not necessarily an either or situation. Definitely more miles, and hours, (and miles per hour) on the Ebike.

I converted my Trek 800 commuter and run it like this for a bit over a year. 30km round trips, 2-3 days a week. 350w rear hub with a 10ah battery.

I've recently taken it back to "Acoustic" and use it for weekend rides.

I've built up a 350w mid motor Orbea Carpe with a 20ah for daily duties now.
