question to ask yourself is would you have bought them at a lesser price if the scratch was described? if yes then get that difference back, if the scratch is somewhere that cant be seen the dont worry about it, its a scratch not the end of the world, does it affect the fork operation or asthetics if they were fitted? if yes send them back if no dont worry about it. if i was hankering after a pro cal (which i am) and one was listed as mint and it came with a scratch i would be put out but i would still keep it as the chances of finding one again would be slim to none. does this apply to the forks? if there are a few about then send them, back and get better ones, if they are hens teeth then crack on and get them fitted.
or just get them re anodised and ask the seller to contribute to the cost.
just my opinion but sometimes things are not worth the stress.
