Parts , bikes and project bikes

@vtwinvince - Crescent used Merckx frames from around 1986. He supplied them frames made with various tubesets and Crescent badged them up. I don't know how long this went on for, or how many EM frames they branded. Maybe until 1990?

Cresent sold Merckx bikes as the 92320 modell from 1986 to mid 90s, but in the 90s the bikes weren't anymore badged as Cresent. During the 80s they also sold Rossin's and Somec's badged as Cresent.

I guess this is from the 1988 catalogue. Both 320 and 319 modells were made by Merckx but the 319 was Columbus Cromor and fitted with Suntour Sprint 9000. Interestingly in the 90s the 319 was a Basso Gap.

Vikter means weight and I would guess the 0.70/2,05/9,5 given for the 320 is tires/wheels/whole bike. Funnily the stem in the picture is Cinelli 1A(could be also a 3ttt record), but in the description for the model is stated to be TTT 1/A which is not a existing model and with 3ttt handlebars the TdF only tells how the bars were bend/shaped and not the actual model.

The shifter bolts somehow got to look like this. With a thread die got them to work perfectly fine.

Did about a 30km trip on sunday. Some fine tuning with saddle and seatpost 1cm up and then I did 70km's yesterday.

The saddle is a bit shabby, need to get the colour back(not my a*s/ball sweat, cleaned and conditioned)

The bike feels a bit small (57cm TT and 110mm stem) and I really need to invest on some locking Look what you call them cycling shoes, because I have really wide feet (flat feet, 45/46 size shoes) and my feet go numb with the cages.
The 1st Chorus is great, shifts really well and brakes feel good. I did get some ghost shifting, but that might be due to the chain being too short or the lever pull/7spd spacing. Also the cage on the FD is little mangled up and started slightly to rub on the crank arm. The spindle is 111mm, correct size for Ita Chorus BB? Could be little wider for the 7spd chainline and better feet position.
Tires are 28mm's and the gears 52t/39t, 13-25t.

And here's a Rossing Record with Gipiemme Crono Sprint group
