Into the steerer tube from below (read instructions on can first) with bike upside down.

Try to spray into the stem tube and not the steerer tube

Just reread about the wedge, is it loose as in rattling about or moves a small amount with force ?

Edit.. I've just reread the instructions, I'd just spray it up the steerer tube etc etc

Wedge is loose and drops down but not out

found this in my shed recently, in the process of tidying it up. swapped the front wheel for a 26" and waiting for a rear wheel but it did come with the what i believe to be original mavic wheels (anyone know the reason for them being so small on such a large frame?) but yeah i am wondering what is the value and age of this bike its in decent nick and seems to have a very well built frame, should i be keeping all the original parts that i can..

Okay, bit of a thread resurrection! This little puppy is just about there now...

and Laurence, if you are still about, lovely pioneer you have there

It has 26 inch wheels because it's an original mtb!
