Lovely!

I remember in summer 1994 I went to leisure lakes in tarleton to look at Oranges. I test rode the boss's totally tricked out Alumium O.

I put it into top/top gear by mistake and he hadn't allowed enough chain so the bike locked up

Great bike felt super light, stiff and very fast.

I ordered a P7 (unseen as none were delivered yet) that was to have a 1993/4 non compact LX groupset (they did a deal) but when it showed up they had given me a full 1994/5 LX group set (all black rear mech).

Looks even better now! Why oh why didn't I bid on this. :(

Really like this one mate, enjoy! (and don't dare sell it without giving me first dibs  )

..

ill get some better pics up when finished.

hopfully going to get it finished this week then get it one final clean once its all back together.

god it took me all night to set the front brake up!!! never done one of these before ... Now i know how though!

just got a new old cable stradle for the rear too so can do that tonight..

How's the finish on the paint?
I just got one very similar and i can only describe the paint as 'going a wee bit chalky'. Totally clean and original but paint seems to be a little soft with age. reckon i'll just give it a thin coat of laquer to protect it.

paint

the paints pretty good, quite alot of engrained dirt but cleans up with tcut. not the finish of todays bike but good enough.
