I know im going to get you old gitsblasting me for this comment but im not that old and cant see a problem with it, i think if alot of modern day bike buyers rode an old Fat Chance they would probably say.... God o mighty why the hell have On-One named there new bike after this awefull thing, thats not neccesserly my opinion but im sure it would be alot of peoples
Improve the riding Geometry ? ... geometry has only changed to accommodate the long suspension forks and as such if you go rigid the overly long rigid forks needed to keep the geometry the same geometry.
If they truly made a retro bike, dropped the forks to a decent length 390 to 410 or whatever it should be and made the thing at least look like a Fat Change I doubt people would be complaining as much.
But it has no fat chance heritage, doesn't look like one, decent tubing but still the may as well call it Inbred or whatever 853.. oh they used to make one didn't they said it was too expensive and not worth the extra... so why bring it out again but under a different name.
Anyways, I'm not a fanboy of either. Just how I see it..
Anyways, it's modern shite so why are we talking about it
They'll be making pink carbon bikes next...
You are right they do already pink carbon
