Pondering on with this idea and got a knackered frame with excellent drop-outs and now sourced a large flange hub.

Can you show me a picture of the hub without the bog roll attached ?

Did you actually cut the hub in two then ?

yes cut in two and rethreaded to be able to bolt it to a half of an axle cut also in two

will do pics tomorrow

and here the standalone Roll holder :idea: :mrgreen: with a chromed fork !



still a kitchen roll holder in my brains - just hesitating to cut this very high flange hub in 2 :facepalm:
