this is a product from the firm of MATEX in France
it was produced in France for a number of years before the manufacturer moved production to Japan

the Clements marque -

have read online an account stating that following the close of play by Ernest two yanks purchased the rights to the name and set up a business in Belfast where they sold contract produced frames & cycles with the Clements name. the operation is said to have been short-lived.

does anyone know if the is accurate?
