Day off today and being doing some pithering on the 'Tude. At the start I said I was only going to make a few amendments... I was so naive to think that that would be the case :roll:
So what have I been spending the banks' money on? Well I've replaced the XT STIs with a NOS pair as the originals were a battered and stiff; I've also replaced the cables with NOS; there is NOS XT quick release throughout; there's a nice tarty matching pink Zefal bottle cage, NOS Araya RM-20 rims laced to NOS XT hubs and a NOS Hyperglide cassette. I've also fitted some racy red Onza Ules grips and some NOS Dia Compe 987 cantis.
Still waiting to go on is a pair of NOS M735 pedals, a NOS HG70 chain and a NOS Avocet Gelflex saddle.
So basically I've been a right berk and gone mental with pounds I ain't got.... but man am I pleased with the result
