My advice to underspray would be to take the PM offers he's probably getting.

Also the things worth the money are the frame & forks, I wouldn't pay a lot but some do like good condition Orange Clockworks.

The pedals, esp the Onza HO as I believe you have the Titanium axle one's. If the axles are not gauged inside and the spares are good then you'll get some reasonable money for them.

Wheels is true and strong, but only because they are wheels.

The flite sade in good condition will get you good money also.

what's left will sell in dribs and draps but not for high prices.

As a whole it's not worth too much.

so either (if not already gone) say sorry and read the rules and start a clean new post or flog 'em on ebay.

Still here, thanks to everyone for taking an interest at least.

Sorry for not reading the rules and not asking for a valuation and for trying to sell it to quickly.

I hope you sell the bike for as much as you can get, I'm not bothered about missing out. I wasnt even going to give it a second thought really untill I was accused of exploitation.

Do you still cycle? Do you think you'll stick around?

I think some of you have been a bit hard guys. He is new here and mis-understood the rules, we have all done it and still make mistakes. He has a nice bike and had no idea of price. He has the right to change his mind, this isnt e-bay after all but a friendly retro bike site to help others learn about their bikes and others. So lets help the guy learn about what hes got and get him the amount the bike deserves.

Is this not fair??

Let's look at the facts.

1. No listed price.
2. Lists at £100.
3. Offer at £100.
4. Realises he might have mis-calculated his original list price.
5. Relists at £150.

That's just not cricket whatever way you look at it. As someone mentioned, if this happened on the 'bay with a BIN, you'd be straight onto the 'bay police.

There's a nice sticky thread on the top that clearly states the rules. A simple 30 second read before listing and none of this would have happened.

I see it as:

He was initially happy to get £100 for it, so is offered it and then won't honour the deal. If he was that bothered about making a few quid more, he should have done 30 seconds of homework.

If he's a newbie then he could start by not pissing off the other users here.

ADMIN NEEDS TO STEP IN AND LOCK THIS THREAD.

people who were not involved in buying or inquiring about buying the bike should simply not be involved. your opinions should be kept to yourself, rite or wrong.
