Hi All, for closure I’m assuming that it is an early use post. Have managed to get the spring back in an it’s working and bouncy now! There is a metal bushing half way down the pipe that moves...it was a bit stuck. See photo for proof! Apologies for non retro temp saddle. (Rocky Mountain - Blizzard). Thanks again Tom
