Help me identify this Klein!

I'm hoping that you guys may be able to help identify this bike given to me by my dad, I'm looking to restore it to its former glory if it has any value as I know Kleins generally are worth looking after, but does also go for the newer ones?. I believe it to be completely stock, Rockshox Dart 2 front fork, hydraulic brakes. I believe it is around 8/9 years old? but I cannot find out what model it actually is online....

I don’t think that is a Klein

Mind you most Klein owners would say anything built after Trek took over aren’t Trek

That's a Merlin malt frame of some kind. You can see the Merlin decal on the seat tube.

Nice frames made by kinesis, due or triple butted (I bought one direct from Merlin years ago).

Not a Klein, probably ride better, my glf rascal was a bone shaker.

Guys, Thanks for the speedy response, that makes a lot of sense why my search was returning no results!
Maybe not got the value that we first thought afterall then! but will still make a good fix up job potentially.
