Not the most informed when it comes to GT’s but have a couple of options on a Zaskar frame - a 1991 and a 1996. Broadly same price so no issue there, but are there any key differences I should factor into the purchase? Alu quality, weird seatpost sizes, hangers or head tubes made of biscuits etc? I’m always drawn to the older/oldest models but that cos I’m old and 1991 feels like ‘just a few years back’.
Any buying advice gratefully received.

More common 27.2 on 96 as I think 26.8 or 27 on 91. Not sure as I don’t usually go that early.

I guess it depends on the bike you plan to build. Will it be a early 90’s or mid 90s build.

was 96 the year they changed the tubeset (downtube)? I know 97 they started changing more, but 96 I think is when it got the swaged downtube. (could be wrong though)
