Since building my retro ti single speed, I’ve not ridden any other off road bikes. I upset a few e-bikers at Swinley the other weekend on it. I’ve just swapped from a 100mm to 65mm stem to make it less front pitched when getting air time - I was pushing my luck at Swinley over the jumps!

Any opinions on the Absolute Black alloy rear cogs? They’re narrow wide which I’ve not seen before on a rear sprocket. About £35 a pop.

Yep, used them and they work spot on

yeah, no issues, but not as tough as a Surly steel cog

Before I press the button on an expensive cog, on a 2:1 ratio, is it better to run 16:32 or 17:34? Given the shit-load of torque through a single speed, is it better to run lager circumference sprockets?

Those absolute black cogs look just like the ones I use from aliexpress
