for sale watsonian 1930's bicycle side cars

for sale is a pair of watsonian side cars

one is for a pet dog or tools materials, other is an aluminium child's side car, would benefit with renovation as plastic window has broke and alloy need re-polishing but otherwise in pretty good condition.

cars come with one attachment for bolting on rear triangle of bicycle.

price- 350 pounds ono -this is a prospective price as right now i am trying to ascertain what value these have

I love these!

I wonder how hard could it be to knock something up for my hounds?

Is it rigid when attached or does it move like the old sidewinder tray type side car thing?

It moves on a pivot much the same as a motor bike side car. Watsonian made motorbike side cars before the bicycle side car. As far as building one I think the complexity would be in building the bracket which attaches to the bicycle. Looks to be quite heavily engineered
