Fitting rear brake on Pro FRO tail

He makes those 3D Ultimates, just a one off?

I saw some pics of some dude in Japan who had one of those. Wonder what they cost?

Google "Yeti Ultimate" something and you will see it on Google images. A gray Ultimate without the loopstay and with 3D logo.

Mel,

Thick powder on the lower portion of the boss CAN occlude a cant arm from sliding all the way on...Lightly sand the round section with a 200 grit section of paper pulling around the circumfrence, testing the fit often. The powder is pigmented the entire thickness, so a quick polish up with some rubbing compound should remove some of the scratches and brighten up the color if that is an issue for you.

Slimjoe, I've offered numerous solutions to repairing your Yeti..can the current builder not repair it or chooses not to attempt it?

cheers,

rody

Hello Rody,
Your advise is greatly appreciated...But i do not think the builder thinks it is a financialy viable option.. :?

Im still waiting to hear back from him..

Do i repair it at more cost than picking up a good solid replacement FRAME? or outlay the cost of having a rear section fabricated from scratch :? :?:

It is a tough one :!: I sent it to the builder 18months ago, and if it was now id have been begging you Rody to have a go at it

Thanks again buddy

I will keep you posted on any further progress ➡️

Slimjoe,

since when is rescuing any vintage frame from the tip "financially feasible"?

We do it for the soul of the bike and our happiness.

If Paul has had it for 18 months and does not want to take a go, have it sent on to me...we'll get you fixed up.

cheers,

rody

Sorry for the highjack Mel...did you get your brakes to slide on?
