Got my licence back this morning, all filthy with 3 points (SP30)..

Horrified to see that the scrote at the FPO has hand-written the endorsement!!!

It's been over 20 years since my last points, don't remember how they were added.. but surely in this, the 21st century, there is the ability to print points on a licence...

Not only soil my otherwise virginal document with pointage but to taint it with a biro too!!

I got my very first 3 points (SP50) last summer, and I thought exactly the same when I saw they were written in biro.

It's an effing liberty imo... bad enough that they want to soil my otherwise pure licence (and it was 'only' 38 in a 30 - but hey, it was me, I was speeding so fair do's) but fer chrissake... if the DVLA can print tax discs then these monkeys should be able to invest in a fricking Epson in the sale at PC World for a tenner (or there's been a few on freecycle, they could've got it for nowt!!) and have the decency to print this filth on my bleeding licence

Rant over.. temporarily ;)

I dont have an issue with it, shows a personal touch :)

But I am with you on the suprised to see it bit when I got done.

Makes it easier to convince people that they're written on with magic ink that disappears when the points expire.

.

Hand written is the norm. Up until a few years ago i used to commute and play on 600cc+ sportsbikes. To my shame i've had a total of 37 points
Still got a big bike now but as with my mtb's its always in bits so I don't get out on it much anymore :(
Take it on the chin there's probably more to come 8)
