Dilema should I swap yeti arc for merlin

Ok guys and gals (are there any in this forum?) ive just hit the mother of all dilemas;

ive got a an yeti arc - 97 that is my pride and joy, ive even put on a tioga disc wheel riding it pretending being tomac ( I know its quite sad ), any way there is this guy who has a merlin - 99 and willing to do a straight swap.

do you think i should do it or...

note: its a not a frame for frame swap but a bike for bike swap that has been suggested. component wise they are more or less the same, except the tioga disco that he wants with it.

Im such a sucker for merlins please help!

boy if i spend anymore on bikes my gf will flip, then i will definetly regret it. she dosent think that a father to a newborn should spend time and money on "childish" boys toys :roll:

How about a 2 week swap, make it a perm. deal if you are both happy after the trial, sort of try before you buy/swap kind of thing?

Trade and keep the disc. Then, later when you are remorseful, you may have enough saved to get another ARC.

If you love the YETI you will regret getting rid and unless you have lived with a Merlin, you do not know that it will be as much fun. I like the trial idea.

Be careful what you wish for...

Both bikes are sooo different in "feel" the Ti against Alu thing..... better try it out before you decide to swap............ or buy steel

Also don't forget the YETI is the kind of bike that smacks you in the face and the merlin has more understated looks.... so if you need the attention :roll: ..... some pics would be nice though
