Decal advice - how to stick them when they've dried out...

I bought a Columbus tubing 'dry fix' decal off Ebay - cost £10, so I don't want to mess up, but it has gone dry. The instructions say that in this case try a hairdryer on low heat, but that didn't work. It then suggested some of that tacky spray artists use, but I'm not convinced that would hold.

What would your advice be? My only current option is some very thin double sided tape but I'm concerned that'll be affected by UV.

get some spray on contact adhesive. let it dry. position the sticker onto the frame and gently heat with a hairdryer. Should hold great!

I'd go for the thin double sided tape - the adhesive shouldn't be UV degraded more than the original would.
