Dave Yates resto build

Much better. 😁

Get those bars rotated down though. If they are pointing up like that to help your reach, move the brakes up the bend a little, and if that doesn't help you might want a bar with shorter ramps.
The rule of thumb I go with is the lower flat section of the bar should be parallel with the ground or pointing to the rear brake bridge.

Yeah - I've had the bars in all sorts of positions to be fair. I have them up some days down others when I'm trying to impress 😂 in all honesty I could ride a 60cm miles better after trying a friend's so I'm on the lookout for a bigger frame. 👍

Colour choices are highly personal and my view would be to go with what makes you happy when you ride it :-) The decal debate kinda took away from the re-spray and rebuild about which I just wanted to say I think you've done an awesome job! It looks like a lovely bike to ride.

That looks at least a 60cm frame, but I'm not the one with the measuring tape

From the pics, the saddle position suggests a bigger frame would be too big. That looks ok. If you need the bars higher, get an upward sloping stem

Thanks 👍 to be honest I've not properly ever measured the bike. I dropped the bars forward so they are now level with the angle of the stem and it's actually proved better on my wrists for some reason. I think it's because I lowered the seat so I wasn't leaning into the bars as much but it's all helped.
