Well ,I made this bit before paint took a while to get a clamp on a slightly ovalised and tapered chainstay!
Fitted a treat and seemed to look how I wanted it back then....but now it's painted and nearly fully built ....nope! Too big ! And being a drum it doesn't really need that much support....


So let's get smashing and mashing on it then



That's a few grams off...let's have some more!


Lost a bolt too.....37 grams off in total ...lubbly jubbly
Makes me think of horse saddles....

Blended the edges a little, a wet flat, a polish and it's on...


And now I have two drums beating in unison
Next?
A late lunch bevvy....
And I guess it's time......for a gear shifter cos their ain't much else to do!
