Really go back on the wheels and get some helicopter tape.

Yep, done all those and I hoping to find some time to wash the tires up and post a proper picture of the whole build. Think the outcome will be damn good.

A Klein is a Klein mate. They can't be compared. Like most women, beautiful but different character!

I have a single color klein that begs to differ ;)

the pearl is still nice..... but not really kline-ish

yup, but wait about a week a week and a half and it will be more than a booring frame, then i will show you some pictures :)

im trying to make it as interesting as i can with its.... handicap. at the same time im starting to like yellow because it symbolizes the leader of a big race, they usually get custom yellow bikes then :)

sorry, but i gotta make ya wait

I got a koi attitude with low low serial number from 98 too, built in 97. looking at a rascal, and almost won a palomino  i think im addicted. I think im going to stick with these two for now though. I might pick up a mantra if i get the chance for the right price. only if it finds me as i like to say 8)

I like the pearls well enough but > koi/fades/etc > storms/custom airbrushing. so yours is holy grail status because of the signature and BEAUTIFUL build

I just cant compliment you enough on that bike, its amazing. the condition before you repainted it was too, and i think the blue / green is a bit much and looks odd on the mantra, yours looks so much better.

I think the whole bidding thing is rather addictive. The more unique stuffs you find, the more you wanna find more. And then mutiple items for a steal and the bill adds up. So the list goes on and on...

Before this paint job, I was thinking of the Horizon Linear Fade as well as the Team Storm. When I chanced upon a similar bike on Oldklein.com, I went crazy over the paint job. Just at that point in the time, my Australian spray painter was here in Singapore. So I sat him down and I talked about what I wanted and he brought the frame back with him. It took about 7 months and trust me, I was like a little child when I collected it from the post office! There are some imperfections in this frameset but I guess I'll just have to live with it.

Tinker LOVED the paintjob when he saw it. We had a short chat while he was signing the frame at some big convention here in Singapore. This bike is sure a keeper for me. =)
