What's This GT / Other

Heavy

Retro Guru
I keep trying and failing to ID this GT - the non-Triple Triangle, internal cable routing and forward seat-clamp have me keep trying.

Is it that alt-brand that GT did for a while? Sha-something?

If it has GT stamped in the top tube end cap it's an 88-89 era Outpost or Talera which oriignally whrer not triple triangle frames.
....if not, it's a Mt. Shasta
GT Outpost and Talera had seat stays welded to the end of the top tube, not seat tube. The frame in the OP's photos are that of an early 90's Saracen, I remember. The stem was similar to that of an early 90's GT stem too, though not a FlipFlop model. More like what you'd find on the Karakoram/Tequesta models.
