Took my badly mauled cat back to the vet tonight, expecting the all clear.
Unfortunately,the wound is badly infected - could lose his leg or we could lose him.
Can't even bear that thought.
Can't think about anything else at the moment.
Thanks everyone for your best wishes on another thread.

hope he gets better quickly poor little mite did you find the owner of the dog that did it and if you did make sure they foot all the bills for the dogs actions that way they might learn to keep it out of your garden and on a lead :evil: bad owners annoy me :evil: :evil:

On another side note was out the front of mine tonight chatting with a mate a few doors up when a porsch came screaming down my road (its a 30 and its a residential area not a race track) boom he hits a black and white cat doesn't even slow down i brought it inside but didn't even make it to the front door poor thing died as i walk in i knocked on a few doors but no one knows who's it was if i cant find the owner tomorrow morning il bury it next to my old cat clyde poxy arseholes round here drive like mad men hope his car fubared and costs him dearly to get fixed :evil: :evil: :evil:

Im sorry to hear that.... I share your pain too..

I have been living with cats since 10.. some reached the incredible age of 17 !! So it was always so sad to see them departing or sick....

Today I live with my girl and we have 6 cats.. lucky find : ))

The thing is, one is missing since yesterday... we've been doing shifts and trying everything to atract her in again.. she is beautiful white cat, but deaf and extremely scared of the backyard.
So we never let her out like the others, but somehow she did found away and has been missing since then..

We found her almost paralised a year ago, with an unknown disease which kept her between life and death for weeks, the vets couldn't tell what was even with multiple biopsies, but she recovered and she is now perfectly ok : )

I hope soon everything will be alright with Button! : )))))
