Any Plumbers/Bathroom fittings experts about?

I really haven't been able to look properly, only looked in passing and assumed as there was a very small tank on the shelf in the cupboard where the bolier is that it was part of it. Doesn't help that the cupboard area is really poorly lit. I will ask darling to take pics tonight when she gets home.

I had a problem with my thermostatic shower too, much the same very low flow rate and cold.

The temperature knob on the shower had worn down on the inside, I had to unscrew the cap and I could see the plastic wasn't turning to open the brass valve/tap inside. I turned it with pliers, got a decent flow of water and tested the temp then set the knob cover in place with a drop of glue.

I think it is the temp knob that is shot but for the money I am just getting a new bar, going to get this one:

The boiler is a Gledhill Pulsacoil A-Class water Storage thing that uses leccy off peak to build heat then mains water passing through it gets heated up when you need it. I like to think of it as a giant sealed thermos with a moonshine coil running through the middle! ;) Nice simple design and costs very little to run according to her bills.

Have located the stopcock beforte it enters the boiler and really looks like all I will need to do is shut this before commencing work and job done!

Cheers guys :)
