Yes, the seller is a member here. The frame looks used to me, certainly looks like it was built up in the past.

Yes looks used to me too.
But it’s a rare one - I remember I searched for one for years with wanted ad here.
Never any luck.

Or maybe it’s a resprayed one if these ( courtesy of @mtbkez ) as it has no Canti hanger mount on the rear as the custom catalogue ones do

To be fair the description states not ridden, doesn't say anything about being built.
Possibly a '97-99 custom rather than a '96? (Can't make out a frame number).

Yea sorry that catalogue I think was 97 not 96. Or was it 98?? I’d have to double check.
