After being convinced I had thrown out my 1992 Rocky Mountain catalogue years ago I gave up looking and started scouring the internet for one, except nobody has one...

Today I was hunting out some some stuff at work in a dusty old box and guess what...found the damn thing :D :D :D :D What is even better is it has prices AND the original quote I had done for the Cirrus I nearly bought back in 1992 .......£2565.00

I will scan and post in the appropriate forum area soon.....you should see the spec I had...Action Tec, Merlin, King, Syncros, Grafton, Rohloff, Campag, Ringle, XTR, USE Ti, Sun Tour 8) 8)

Well I'm excited

Here is the quote I got from Klimbhigh Cycles in 1992 for a FULLY tricked out Rocky Mountain Cirrus.....£2660.00

Full Campag, Ringle, Grafton etc....

Love the period details on that quote ('Facsimile').

And what about the paper itself? The colour, creased edges and stain bring to mind those school assignments for RE or History where you had to reproduce an 'old' looking version of the ten commandments or similar using available means - teabags, toaster (strong fire potential) etc.

Quality.

Cat piss I think (the stain)

Cat is dead now but the quote lives on

Coooooooool.... 8)

Love the Thunderbolt picture on the Blizzard page. What's the story behind them, are they 'just' a Blizzard with a custom paint job?

Cheers!

AFAIK Thunderbolts (and subsequently Tantalus) were 'custom' frames......you picked your tubeset, geometry, paint, components and they made what you wanted.

They were also twice, if not three times the price of their other frames.....and that's why
