I find one hobby replaces another as I need something to mess with. Used to collect retro Tamiya R/C buggies and that got far further out of hand then I've let my retro bikes.
I've found that I've been through various stages of retrobike addiction that started with seeing lots of shiny toys and getting as many as I could afford. Found that my favourites were made mainly between 1990 and 1993 so chopped out the chaff. Always been an Orange fanboy but I'm getting to the point of owning / having owned all the Oranges from the years mentioned so am confused as to the direction to take next. I can feel another cull coming on and then starting from scratch (except for my Clockwork).
TBH, I like riding retro but also like modern. Can only ride one at a time and my Clockwork does that as well as anything + I'll never let it go so thinking of replacing my modern 5. No doubt my retro collection will be slowly replaced after the cull though as I can't help myself
If I were you LGF I'd thin the collection right down, take stock, then decide where to go from there.
