Opinions welcome. apart from 'it's not ball burnished' 'it needs mag 21s' 'it's white' or 'it looks like an avalanche'. Had those before and was left flummoxed by all of them so go easy on me.

Not seen a '97 in white before and, tbh, it just goes to show how timeless that GT geometery is: looks like a modern bike but in a good way. Interesting build and nice looking bike. :)

Thanks for the feedback.

It does look a bit minty fresh. I like the white - really nice powder coat job that banished the previous purple to the gates of bike hell.

Been thinking about changing the cranks - two reasons

1) 950 xtr grey or black might look better

2) these are FSA which I polished up but the left hand crank fell off 25 miles from home last week. Scrabbled around an found the extractor bolt, hand tightened it and limped home. How might that happen? Drive side is solid and no issues - does this mean there's an issue with

A) the bolt
B) the threads on the crank ISIS
C) the bb (brand new)

Bit stumped.

looks great! my only suggestion, i think the graphics could use a bit more black..see below (excuse poor photoshop skills)

Nice work 8)
I did consider bolder decals but i wanted something subtler and different
Might be food for thought when decal refresh cones around.

Looks mint 8)
I'm thinking about using early Fox forks for my new '96 project.
How does this feel? Is the geometrie changed? How are the Fox in general?

Very nice.

I'd prefer risers but would be in the minority on that I'm sure.

But overall lovely.
