1989 Orange Clockwork frame? 🤞

My intention is all Orange, and I am really crap at colour matching!

I’ve been looking at RAL 2004 as a possible.

From doing a quick google search I'd say 2005 is probably closer?

Thanks, now I look properly that’s it.
Great help that, as I mentioned my colour perception is really abysmal.

I have a selection of Clockworks , built and frames. But most from 92/93 with colours that I believe were different shades of Orange then, Carrot etc? Some very faded, which can only really be determined by the steerer tube overspray.

I have an Orange / white 10th Anniversary, that’s pretty bright, similar to RAL 2005…..here we go , to my eyes

That ral paints what's the smallest amount of paint they or do they just sell them color charts

I've got an all orange Clockwork now. The finish is actually flat rather than gloss which I didn't realise before. If you need some close ups let me know.

Really nice original looking bike, thanks Brocklanders for the offer of more info.
That’s interesting, I thought they were all gloss apart from the black versions.
Really like the larger graphics on the early frames.
I have some frame preparation to sort , few pin holes etc, but I hope to replicate something similar soon…
Are those DX shifters?

Yeah, they're DX. Didn't realise about the paint myself until I got this one.

Cheers Brocklanders, that’s good, I have a pair of DX shifters ready to fit. Out of interest is the front mech cable routed on the top guide or below the BB?

I'll have to check but I think it's via a bottom bracket mounted cable guide? Yeah, it's an 89.
