Peachy, while I applaud the build and attention to detail... is that at GT cable end on the rear brake??!

Tee hee

Don’t worry, a 90’s Marin job is on its way (one day)

Re: Our Jimmy’s Marinated in Ritchey sauce (Pa & Son MM20 build)

Quick break from Mother’s Day duties....
Employed the use of a Parktools CRP1 crown race puller for the first time and it was child’s play!
(Yes I know this is an indulgent piece of non-essential kit, but when my LBS sole owner decided to retire at 70, he offered me some of his kit at a silly cash price because he ‘can’t be arsed’ with eBay... what could I do?)

Then it’s on with a Ritchey Comp head set into the head tube whilst the forks spend the evening in the freezer...

Indulgent but very satisfying to use I bet.

Oh yes..... super easy, it just eased the crown race up like an easy thing on a Sunday morning 8)

Re: Our Jimmy’s Marinated in Ritchey sauce (Pa & Son MM20 build)

Day 1 of 84 (minimum) at home…does seem very strange but also very necessary… :|
Kids had their first taste of online schooling and Mrs Peachy didn’t want me to feel left out so I had quite a job list….

At the end of the day we did get an hour in the workshop though, :D
After fitting the secondhand Ritchey stem, Our Jimmy realised that there were a few scratches that would benefit from a little detailing.

Comp headset and WCS stem....

Matched with a WCS riser bar….(real used, not cheap repro)

Front wheel consisting of Campag rim, XTR hub and LX QR all sitting just right in those FSX Judys…
