This really is special and a great pre-cursor to the Kona (The Bicycle Group) emergence. Two years before that company launched, you could say this bike was "ahead of it's time" or Kona and Paul (to start with) literally took this template (frame) and ran with it.
Apart from a shorter and slightly adjusted top tube angle (so there's less top tube poking up), it's pretty much the iconic Kona shape and of course, with a paint job that made a reappearance three years later on the Explosif (and in some cases, a variant version on the Fire Mountain).
Anyway, this is beautiful and I bet it rides like a beast.
