    Cobra project

Brakes fixed - replaced all 4 springs and dust caps with nice new ones , new 70mm pads and shoes and some judicious adjustment - pretty sharp stopping now :-) Gil turned up trumps with the decals again and so this one is finished for now, a nice upright and comfortable ride...

    1995 DJR Cyclocross

Love the cantis, choice items, the black theme also goes really well with the blue frame. MTB bar probably has too many logos and lettering but I am sure you are on the case with that, overall a very clean looking build, and not frankenbike at all

...shakedown ride today to see if I can reach the ground and to check nothing falls off: if you are wondering where the front mech is, there isnt one and I am not going to fit one either - the extra chainring is there to just look menacing - :-) works aok as a 1x8 and I can...

documenting this for those that like to see some retro steel - acquired this ugly duckling from ebay in late 2024... appeared to be a Paul Riley frameset from Preston with the all important canti stops and in 531C ...unfortunately, despite a heroic battle involving all kinds of...

Lovely Restored Roberts Road Bike SE London £650

I always saw Stronglight as a sort of CTC, Chris Juden sort of a must have and never really understood the fanaticism, sure they are solid but I concur that full Campy would make more sense and be a little more beautiful, if its intended for long distance then maybe durability wins out...

1985(ish) Mongoose ATB - might be a slow burner!

a real shame, but if you are never going to be happy with it, best to cut your losses before more expenditure. hang on to those parts and especially the bull moose as another frame will surely come along at some point, there are quite few early muddy fox 'survivors' out there for instance -...

Fillet brazed off road adventure bike of unknown origin.

Nice project, will scrub up well. Someone should be able to identify the unusual seat post clamp arrangement there, I thought Tom Bromwich at first so Orbit would be close, but all the braze-ons and fork would point towards a more modern build -late 90s and the dropouts are more...
