    I would guess that finding an ekar mech is going to be a struggle in Somerset, further north in Bristol perhaps but don't know of anywhere nearer stocking Campy parts. Might have to do an impromptu 'fixed' gear lash up to limp along in one speed mode. Good luck.

    Brakes fixed - replaced all 4 springs and dust caps with nice new ones , new 70mm pads and shoes and some judicious adjustment - pretty sharp stopping now :-) Gil turned up trumps with the decals again and so this one is finished for now, a nice upright and comfortable ride...
