Hit by 6.9 Earthquake but I’m Ok

That is concerning, glad you are aok, but tough for those that lost possessions and livelihoods and of course those injured or lost family. Disasters aside, I think the RB readership would love to hear what cycling is like over there generally and what you have experienced while out and about on 2 wheels.
Here’s & arctile composed for Testing Times back in April 2009. How we did TT’s in Cebu having introduced it to the locals & I also raced drawing crowds.

Hang in there, seems like they are decreasing in severity gradually at least. I have only been in a serious quake once but that did give me the sense of helplessness and fragility of human existence for life. It destroyed my brother's school though and he was initially quite pleased about that. It was Nissen huts and they succumbed spectacularly.
Hope the community bounces back and gets cycling again in record time.
