Any love for the old Carrera’s here?

One of my old mukkas had a. B52 bought new from Halfords and loved it. Unfortunately he emigrated to Australia with a woman, that didn't work out and he had to come back. He's never got over the loss of leaving that bike behind. Let me know if the frame is destined for the bin or very cheap...

    Triumph Traffic Master

Weight, braking, less rust bustin'! Looks a great bike - have fun! Lots of Happy Shoppers displaying our wares here: https://www.retrobike.co.uk/threads/folders-foldable-bicycles-minivelos-and-demontables.454643/

    Turbine's

Thank you 👍 Always fancied a set but never looked too hard back when as I was on more of a LX budget rather than XTR etc.

    Turbine's

Retrobrains, I've just bought these and (looking through the rattle can finish and the water) they appear to be a set of turbines but what's the deal with the solid sides (no machined pockets)? Does this make them early, late, downhill, anything else? Cheers!

Univega and Saracen (what they worth)

Be a real shame to split either of those. Where are you JIC...

As above, bought a nice WTB saddle from Graham. Looks better than in the photos and came very quickly, many thanks!

    Cook Bros. F-Type Crank Mold

Ah, so is the z-axis controlled by the stylus acting as a hydraulic valve and the operator controls x, y and sets depth of cut limit? Very different to the machine I found. The days before machine guards!

    Cook Bros. F-Type Crank Mold

Just had to look that machine up - wondered if the pantograph element would be powered at all but it appears not, just the cutter. Lots of shallow cuts I presume? I've seen something similar for copying chair seats but rather more rudimentary.

    Cook Bros. F-Type Crank Mold

    Albeit a really slow one.

    Cook Bros. F-Type Crank Mold

Are you sure it's not a mimetic polyalloy?

It’s getting HOT in here ….

You'll obviously have the best idea as seeing things in the metal makes all the difference. Watching with interest (and lots of very sinful envy) - have fun!
