Ah, so is the z-axis controlled by the stylus acting as a hydraulic valve and the operator controls x, y and sets depth of cut limit?

Just had to look that machine up - wondered if the pantograph element would be powered at all but it appears not, just the cutter. Lots of shallow cuts I presume?
I've seen something similar for copying chair seats but rather more rudimentary.
You'll obviously have the best idea as seeing things in the metal makes all the difference.

I'd kept my gob shut until now as it seemed a done deal for the dark theme but I think it would look stunning with some more bright aluminium on show (even at the expense of the super trick ti bits). The Turbines and the fork crown/brace certainly aren't fighting with the paint, they accentuate...
Some things are worth the wait and this looks like one of them!
Are there some inconsistencies or cable/heel rub with the bead blasted finish on the frame?
