Yes, on production numbers, Adrian suggested just over 3000 units. The serial numbering looks more like 2400 or so.

The F2 does have the best survival ratio...but I don't think it's indicative of much, since it's not a comprehensive list of production numbers or survivors, just what has been gleaned over the years from articles, RB, Facebook and eBay sales etc.

Some features do have specific failure modes:
-RC100s known to crack at CS/BB joint and the welded seat clamp, but otherwise tough, overbuilt and not anodised.
-Round seat tubes go at the BB end (F3-F8 ), bad design choice of thin walled PG tube, rather than butted.
-1-1/8" head tubes tend to crack (F6-RC300), under toleranced bore and possibly poor quality material stock.
-Cracking at CS/BB joint after dropping the chainstay bridge (F4-RC300).

Keep it up all good info to know I know it's a nightmare if something breaks but it good to know that people like you exist who can fix and build most things which saves stuff which otherwise would either be binned or wall hanger plus If I come across something broke if I got it cheap enough I take the risk
