First joint in '64 or '65. Occasional til '67, then pretty much daily til '76. Some heavier stuff - only rule was no jacking up. Dropped it all apart from infrequent dope when moved from Leeds! Alcohol that got me - grade 1 alcoholic who has not touched a drop for 17 years and 6 months. Nicotine is the only drug that I have never been able to kick.
I believed in legalising dope back in '60s and I still do. Same for coke an H. Only way to cut the crime links in e.g. S America which leave many dead.
