What clear coat would you recommend?

One of my projects (from 195 needs cleaning up, rust dealing with etc
I was just going to rely on polish to keep the rust stay but am wondering about clear coating it? What products have worked well for you all?

I'd apply just wax. You can find some small pots with little carnuba from the car industry

Spraxmax. Not cheap, but short of getting it done professionally is the best and most robust finish you'll get.

Either spraymax or i use a lot of Upol power can clear.....

But its all about the prep......

Also remember if you go for spraymax or any 2k coating....you MUST wear an appropriate filtered mask...it is horrible horrible stuff....a paper one will not do....

But it sticks well and is tough!

Oh....and it is absorbed through your skin too......lovely
