The old Lizard back up and running again..

The lizard is back up and running again.. fitted with a new Shimano Tourney rear derailleur, and Shimano chain. The original Shimano SIS derailleur was so worn that it just couldn’t be adjusted to change smoothly. With the new gears and chain, it’s good as new

Where would I get a retro derailleur? I checked eBay, there was nothing the same.. also a few other sales places.. found nothing. If possible I would have replaced it with the exact same model that was fitted from new, but unfortunately I couldn’t find one. That’s not to say that I won’t keep an eye out for one, but I wanted to use the bike, and this seemed like the best option for the time being. It works perfectly well too

I mean I did offer you a direct replacement in your other thread and, if you didn't want that you could have used pretty much any 90's shimano derailleur but, if this works and you're happy then who am I to argue

I have a Shimano SIS going too if you want to go down that route
