Ah, thanks fella, wasn't sure if it was a 38 or 39t chainring. 2.05:1 ratio then. In gear inches that's 53.36" I'm running 2.25:1 or 58.5" which makes it hard (for me at any rate) in them thar hills.
Cheers chaps, yep as above 39/19 or just over a 53" gear. Suits me perfectly for the flat stuff round here and better chainwrap, smoother transmission and less wear than the more usual 32/16 but most importantly allows me to use a lovely Campag chainset!
Put it together really cheaply, frame was £80, forks were new - Pipedream Sirrus, a great cro-mo rigid fork and £40 direct from PD, Salsa bits from the US are silly cheap compared to UK prices...
Frame is a medium (16") - effective TT is 22.5". 'Daisy' is my baby daughter who arrived same time as the frame...
