You have a good memory for scenes, exactly. Its on an old railway bridge a mile from home and on the way to our local loop of singletrack.
The wife has a Kona too, and just bought a tasty Cindercone from LikeClockwork for No2 son when he outgrows his Islabike later this year...

Nice - that frame looks virtually as new, not seen those bear trap style pedals either for some time, kudos for that!
What brakes are those? tektro or Avid?

Personally I think these old Konas have THE best profile of any hardtail bike!!

the frames got a lot of scrapes and chips.. not in the best condition really but no rust to speak of... they're all protected with tape now though!

What brakes are those? tektro or Avid?

they're shimano...
