Here’s my 90s Raleigh Dynatech XC80

Haven't been here much recently, but stoked to discover this thread!

This is the kind of thing I've mostly been building and riding over the past year.

A few recent examples, with a few more projects hopefully on the way in a similar mode...

Bin neu hier,bin zufällig auf diesen Thread gestoßen,da musste ich mich registrieren
Habe hier ein Kuwahara Hi Pacer von 91 diesen habe ich etwas Gewichtsoptimiert 9,8 kg desweiteren habe ich auf 1x10 umgebaut
38/42 Finde ich für mich genial, fährt sich wirklich Super
Dann habe ich noch einen 89 Kuwahara Lady Pacer
und ein sehr seltenes91er Centurion Cross Country

I know nothing of road bikes, but I like Canadian bikes and Japanese steel. I think I know where to find a pink anno bullhorn bar...

This is only hybrid I have a 1992 Giant Tourer, given by the same friend who gave me the Merida Al Bon wanted to junkpile and trash it. I changed the rims and the tires, the rest is fully and entirely original.

This is one of my beloved hybrids.

Meanwhile my beloved above doesn´t get rid of this beauty I´ll give a try to my 2 Fronkonstins:

The original state that I mentioned before, turned out to be beyond worth rescuing.
But as things do, the solution turned up in the shape of a complete, sort of rare, Shimano 700CX group.
I run the cheaper brother, 400CX, on a Peugeot Prestige 500 and that thing goes.

Plan was to go Grey, but it turns out there are a lot of shades of grey .. (at least fifty of them)
The uniform green/grey look is far-fetched.

Suggestions are already been made to finisch off with yellow cabling?
And it's been said that I have to loose the chainring protector? I get it, but it completes the groep; any ideas or arguments?
