I've built a wheel, but that's not very interesting. :)

Hi mate
It's what they called Military Green. I think it looks brown with a green tinge to it. Very utilitarian anyway :)

Can I be late to the party then? Some pics from an Aviemore weekend. Friday night was High Burnside trails, Saturday was an attempt on Carn Ban Mhor but the bluster near the top had us coming back down. Sunday was a tired leg loop of Laggan. Pics are from Carn Ban Mhor and the bottom two Laggan.

Looking great Klaus :)
Brilliant photos.
We must all get out together once again, though I fear I may be at the back by a good bit ;)

Klaus that top photo really sets the mood.

Me, I just built another wheel. With skinny spokes - the build was strange in that my usual automatic parameters weren't usable - the feel of the build was different.

Now to find out how long the wheel will last...

I just built a pair. Turned some old 26" 24 spoke straight pull hope hoops (Pro 3 XC SP3 hubs, 355 rims) into a pair of cross wheels for the wife. (Some new Grail rims)

Calculating spoke lengths was "interesting" to say the least!

Bit of a project!

And i now have spare rims for my 26er.
