Welcome to RBotM November 2023
This month is a theme month with the theme being.........Frame Month!

So dig out those frames you have been getting ready for that winter build, or summer depending where you are, grab the one you are trying to get finished so you can get that one ride before the weather turns, or maybe it's the one (or more) that are just sitting in the shed waiting for the right time, whatever! Just dig them out, dust them off (or not), take two photos and give a brief description with a link to where people can find more information, ie; a blog page, readers ride link, a website etc.

Now this is an easy one this month as I think that at least 90% of members have a frame or few sat in the loft, shed lock up etc. So if even 10% put a frame up I think we would have a huge month, so dig deep and share the beauty.

Here is a vintage rusty Somec frame that my son and I painted. The drops were first spread and all the rust and old paint were carefully removed.

I bought this frame last year, but because of a job change I didn't get around to building it for this year's season.

It is a Jabo, currently with the wrong transfers and (I think) some paint missing from the forks.

Posting the backstory over at the neighbours' is about as far as I got last year:

SL is the best for road riding. The Somec I posted above is made from SL. Somec recently found and purchased a stash of vintage SL and is making custom frames from it. https://somec.com/en/collection/road_steel_custom_made/top_class/
