My 1996 ish (confirmation/correction appreciated) Cannondale R500 triple.
Bought two years ago from Face-ache Marketplace. It’s in spotless, as-new condition. Whoever owned it before didn’t get round to riding it more than a couple of yards. I did have an issue with a sticky shifter but that’s working perfectly now. It’s still in the shed pending a decision on whether to use or pass it on to an enthusiast.

Bought as a frameset for the princely sum of €5. This frame was built by Miki in Japan in 1981 for Union in Holland.

Recently built up as a vélo sportif, and currently undergoing shakedown tests to get all the adjustments right.

Here’s my submission, finished the build in March:
Found this Scapin atec SLX on eBay, original paint was in shambles but in substance the frame was great and had it repainted, painted logos, original chromed forks.
Campagnolo Record 8 speed;
New Cinelli Giro bars, Cinelli stem;
Wheels, hand built H Plus Son Archetype, DT Swiss aerolite spokes, laced to Record hubs 28 front, 32 rear;
Challenge 25mm tires;
Saddle Selle Italia Turbo…subject to change.

We are steaming ahead this month with a superb line up of contenders so far.
I will also have to remind people that it’s one paragraph, basically a couple of lines to describe what you are entering, with a link to a build page etc with more information. Also, two photos only.

Just restored (apologies for the rubbish picture) Olmo Giro running alexrims wheels, schwalbe laguno II tyres and shimano 105 groupset with Hopkins cycles chainwheel and cranks, rockbros spd sl pedals and selle Italia saddle. Bar tape is Cinelli cork. Rides beautifully with crisp silent shifting of the 8 speed cassette
