Tape

I supply the uk tape industry with capital machinery, i have access to the 3m product range and lots more.

I would only be able to get the tape on a roll.

how wide is the 3m stuff? the stuff i can get is 30cm ish, bit wide for a bike admittedly the other thig with helicopter tape, at least the ones i've seen, is they are quite thick and the edges peel after dirt gets in. they also yellow after about 3-5 years, where as the stuff i can get is supposedly u.v resistant.

if it's uv resistant and thin enough, could it be used to protect new decals from the rigours of mud etc.??

yep, have just test fitted it to my ss bike, and its pretty much invisible. will do some pics tomorrow when the lights a bit better. as with anything, its worth taking your time fitting it.
